Introducing Mark Hawkins, the NEW WLI-SE Chancellor: IIn
this journey of life and ministry we are often led down paths that we
think will last for years, only to find out God had other plans. Such
it is with my journey as Chancellor of WLI-SE.
Over
the past
several months it has become increasingly clear that the Lord was
redirecting how and where He wanted me to invest my time and resources
to advance His Kingdom. My resignation as Chancellor of WLI-SE was
submitted to Dr. Wagner earlier this month with a sense of both sadness
and anticipation. I will continue to serve our region through the
Georgia Apostolic Prayer Network, and in the new position of State
Coordinator for the US Apostolic Alliance for Georgia where we are
working diligently to form an state apostolic council, and regional
councils across the state. As such, we will continue to partner with
and support WLI-SE. Serving Dr. Wagner and each of you in this
capacity has been a delight, and I am looking forward to continuing to
be
involved with WLI, through support,
teaching, and encouragement.
Effective immediately, Mark Hawkins
will assume the role and responsibility of =Chancellor of WLI-SE. Mark
has served as a member of our WLI-SE leadership and an instructor for
some of our classes. Mark is the founder of His Presence Ministries,
has pastored, taught, and provided apostolic council and oversight to
numerous ministries over the last thirty years. He is a member of the
International Coalition of Apostles, and in close ministry relationship
with Dr. Negiel Bigpond, Dr. Jay Swallow, Dr. Ron DePriest, and Dr.
Phil Byler. Effective immediately, Mark Hawkins will assume the role and responsibility of Chancellor of WLI-SE. Mark brings strong gifts of teaching, training,
and activation to WLI-SE, and clearly has a vision to take the
development of WLI-SE to the next level. The primary campus for WLI-SE
will be in Columbus with courses and approved classes offered in
Atlanta - and eventually, in other areas of the Southeast.
WLI-SE
students,
and current applicants, will be receiving communication from
Mark in the very near future to review your progress and help set a
course for your continued progress toward earning your Wagner
Leadership Institute diploma of practical ministry. Additionally,
Mark will be working to identify a new dean and administrator for
WLI-SE who will be able to work closely with him to continue developing
WLI-SE into an excellent training center to serve this region.
The goal of WLI-SE continues to be to help provide quality training, impartation, and activation as a
support and service to the Body of Christ across this region to see that every follower of Christ fulfills
his or her purpose and destiny. Please
feel free to contact Mark at markhawkins@hispresenceministries.com
directly if you have any questions, or if you would like to discuss the
future of WLI-SE. My prayers and support are fully with Mark and with
each of you, and I look forward to seeing how God uses this change to
further His purposes.
For His Glory,
Jacquie Tyre WLI-SE, founding Chancellor
