A Message from WLI-SE Chancellor:

The Body of Christ is transitioning into a new and dynamic season of apostolic advancement that will see reformation of the Church and measurable transformation of society impacting every element of culture. This means we must embrace fresh approach to ministry, from ministry by a few to a few, to ministry through every follower of Christ to reach the multitudes. And, in turn, this requires an new and intentional approach to discipleship.

Discipleship must include the disciplines of the faith such as reading and studying the Word of God, meditation, prayer & intercession, silence & solitude, fellowship, service, development of Christ-like character, living as a witness of the love of Christ, just to name a few. And, equipping the saints for the work of the ministry muxt become a part of everyday, normal Christianity. The Holy Spirit's challenge to leaders today is to minister to those who are following in a new way -- we must serve the Body of Christ in such as way that they, each and every one, discover, develop, and dive-into the "work of the ministry" right where they live, work and play. The task of leadership is to help others fulfill their God-given destiny with excellence of intimacy with the Lord, relationship with fellow believers and their community, and function to effectively minister according to gift, calling and assignment.

Our desire as WLI-SE is to help provide quality training, impartation, and activation as a support and service to the Body of Christ across this region to see that every follower of Christ fulfills his or her purpose and destiny. Wagner Leadership Institute-Southeast (WLI-SE) is an affiliate regional school of the Wagner Leadership Institute (WLI). Founded in 1998,by Dr. C. Peter Wagner, WLI reflects a new paradigm and a unique approach to training for practical ministry. Students learn in a creative, revelatory atmosphere of teaching, impartation and activation with opportunity for hands-on practical ministry application.
